Garuda Ponies!

You've got some unlocking to do!

The "Ponies" are mounts that drop from the Extreme Primals in A Realm Reborn. (None for the HW primals, at least not yet.) Each Pony has an appearance linked to the elemental primal that drops it, and plays that elemental's theme song when you use the pony as a mount.

Here's a list of the Primals and where to unlock:

List of Hard and Ex Primal Fights

The hard part about this is that the Ex primals have to be unlocked in a particular order. Once you've cleared them one time you can just go straight in, but the first time, you have to do them this way:

1. Garuda Ex (GEX), Drops wind pony (seen here)
2. Titan Ex (TEX), Drops earth pony
3. Ifrit Ex, Drops fire pony
4. Mog Ex, NO PONY.
5. Leviathan Ex (Lex) Water pony
6. Ramuh Ex (Rex), drops lightning pony
7. Shiva Ex (Sex), drops ice pony.

If you get all six elemental ponies you can get the Kirin flying super special pony and the "Tamer of STeeds" title. There's also a black unicorn pony, "Nightmare," that can drop from any of the elemental Ex fights, but is far rarer than the normal pony drops.

I would suggest you do the following before Friday if possible:

1. Watch videos on all these fights and/or read a guide. We do them unsynced (overpowered) so in many cases we can simply ignore mechanics, but not always!

2. Try to open up as many of the Ex fights as you can before Pony Farm night. Doing them with the Duty Finder isn't the best idea as it will require you to do them with a party of 50s which is often a challenge; I would suggest instead that you recruit from the FC and/or use a Party Finder to get help. Mention in the Party Finder that you have tome bonuses for all the Ex fights! This will often get help from people piling up the tomes for their Relics.

Then you can show up on Pony Night ready to farm!
